Surrey is a city in the province of British Columbia, Canada, located south of the Fraser River and north of the Canada–United States border. It is a member municipality of the Metro Vancouver regional district and metropolitan area. Mainly a suburban city, Surrey is the province’s second-largest by population after Vancouver and the third-largest by area after Abbotsford and Prince George. Seven neighbourhoods in Surrey are designated town centres: Cloverdale, Fleetwood, Guildford, Newton, South Surrey, and City Centre encompassed by Whalley. == History == Surrey was incorporated in 1879, and encompasses land formerly occupied by a number of Halqemeylem-speaking aboriginal groups. When Englishman H.J. Brewer looked across the Fraser River from New Westminster and saw a land reminiscent of his native County of Surrey in England, the settlement of Surrey was placed on the map. The area then comprised forests of douglas fir, fir, red cedar, hemlock, blackberry bushes, and cranberry bogs. A portion of present-day Whalley (named after Harry Whalley, who owned and operated a gas bar at the bend in King George Blvd, (formerly King George Highway) at 108 Avenue, “Whalley’s Corner”) was used as a burial ground by the Kwantlen (or Qw’ontl’en) Nation. Settlers arrived first in Cloverdale and parts of South Surrey, mostly to farm, fish, harvest oysters, or set up small stores. Once the Pattullo Bridge was erected in 1937, the way was open for Surrey to expand.

Aram’s Auto Repairs & Service Center has helped me fix my car after a car accident. It was my fault, so the insurance company rejected my claims, and I had to spend my own money. I looked for reasonable prices and mechanics who actually know what they’re doing. My friends suggested I check out this center. I decided to give it a go and had my car towed there. They explained the works my car needed in detail, showed me what was damaged, and found the most budget-friendly solution. They have spare parts in stock, both used (in good condition) and new. I decided on new ones, except for one, because the used one looked great and was considerably cheaper. The entire repair took two days. Given the scope of work, I consider it extremely fast. Aram’s Auto Repairs & Service Center has excellent mechanics that are always ready to save the day. My car got broken into. They smashed the window to get to the things and shattered the headlight (no idea why, though). I had to find a car repair shop urgently, so I googled one and was lucky to spot this center not far from where I was. I drove there, and they examined the damage. This center has spare parts in stock and had the window glass and headlight I needed, although the used ones. But I didn’t mind since they were in excellent condition and it reduced the price considerably. My car was ready in about 2 hours, and the bill was lower than I expected. Overall, I’m very happy with the service and even decided to write this review for other people to know that it’s a center where you won’t get ripped off. They work fast, have affordable prices, and are polite (not every service can boast that).
