Airbag repairs require correct diagnosis and components.
An illuminated airbag or SRS warning can mean the system has detected a fault and may not operate as intended in a collision. The fault should be scanned and tested rather than cleared without repair. Airbag replacement can also require inspection of sensors, modules, seat-belt pretensioners and related wiring.
Collision-related work may overlap with autobody repair and vehicle electrical service. Tell us whether the vehicle was recently in a collision or had interior, seat or steering work.

Start with fault history
Tell the shop whether the warning followed a collision, battery issue, seat removal or interior repair. Deployed airbags can be only one part of the required work.
Inspect related restraint components
Sensors, modules, wiring and seat-belt pretensioners may need attention alongside the visible airbag. Clearing a warning without correcting the underlying fault does not complete the repair.
Keep records
